INTENSIVE ENGLISH COURSE

After the summer, school starts again: how to start off on the right foot? With an intensive English course. The course, in its 6th edition, is reserved for the most deserving second-year middle school students (at least 7 in English in the 2023 - 2024 First Quarter report card), who want to improve their third-year middle school results and best prepare for high school.

Five days of full immersion

An intensive work program can make the difference! The course will be held in person, respecting safety regulations, at the IESS headquarters in Piazza Prampolini in Reggio Emilia, and will last 20 hours (4 hours a day for 5 days).

The course is held by native teachers who apply Active Learning, an innovative and stimulating method that involves students actively, thanks to group work, role-playing games, writing and listening workshops, watching videos in the language and reading and comprehension exercises.

A prize for those who have a good profit

Registration is now open. By July 10, 2024, a ranking will be drawn up based on the English grade of the first four-month period and, in the event of a tie in English grade, on the general average of the grades of the first four-month period.

The first 10 students classified participate in the course for free. The other students can participate at the reduced cost of 90 euros.

Once you have sent your registration, you will receive an email with the link to access to complete your registration, choosing the session you are interested in and making the payment (the first 10 classified will be asked to pay the fee to confirm their participation and will be refunded at the end of the course).

At the end of the course, students will take a test to verify the skills achieved, which will be communicated to students and families. The first three classified will receive a scholarship of 250 euros to enroll in the IESS High School.
