Suitable for students interested in travelling through the economy, law and society of our time and in understanding the economic, legal and social phenomena of the contemporary world.
It is a new international educational program designed to train future professionals, entrepreneurs, and managers, providing you with a comprehensive and broad-ranging education that will enable you to enter the professional world as a protagonist.
Based on subjects common to all high schools, which are essential for your development as a student and as a citizen, and on specialized subjects such as economics, law, and human and social sciences, the course brings current issues into the classroom, equipping you with the tools to understand the economic, political, and social phenomena of our time and tackle an increasingly complex world with an edge.
The course adopts an interdisciplinary approach that will allow you to acquire a well-rounded education and develop cross-cutting skills that are highly valued by national and international companies and institutions.

The final qualification is in Human Sciences, with an economic-social focus.
Classical Culture: This is one of the foundational courses in the first two years, common to all tracks, focusing not on the Latin language but on epic poetry, literature, and theater in the classical world. An extraordinary journey into Greek and Latin culture, which form the foundation of Western civilization.
Italian: The exploration of epic literature in the Classical Culture course allows the Italian course in the first two years to strengthen linguistic skills and introduce students to reading and writing.
English: 4 hours per week, native-speaking teachers, language labs, and lessons in English for non-linguistic subjects.
Geography: Including human, political, and economic perspectives, focusing on world cultures and international relations.
Art History: Lessons start from the first year and run parallel to the history curriculum.
Business Economics, Finance, and Marketing: An innovative course exploring markets and businesses.
Enhanced Science: An extraordinary journey, during the final three years, focusing on scientific progress, sustainability, and the 2030 Agenda.
Environmental Education: A highly relevant program on sustainable human development, urbanization and pollution, renewable energy, waste management, recycling, and the human impact on the environment.
Digital Education: Elements of computer science, coding, robotics, the internet, artificial intelligence, and Office tools. You will learn to create videos, multimedia presentations, and websites.
Personal Education: Study methods, teamwork, communication, self-confidence, and result-oriented skills.
Civic Education: Law, citizenship and institutions, the Constitution, forms of state and government, and international organizations.
Economic and Financial Education: Elements of economics and personal finance: budgeting, saving and investing, opening a bank account, applying for a loan, understanding a payslip, and starting a business.
Wellness: Education on nutrition and healthy living, sexual education, and both traditional and non-traditional sports: yoga, pilates, dance, meditation, and aerobics.
Open-mindedness: You will engage with the major economic, legal, social, and political issues of our time and commit yourself to the progress of humanity.
Interdisciplinary Education: You will learn to understand the relationships between human development, economic growth, and scientific progress, enabling you to face challenges and changes with awareness.
Global Awareness: You will move without prejudice in an international context, appreciating the world for its diversity and cultural differences as a source of enrichment.
Responsible Citizenship: You will actively participate in institutional life and look forward to leaving high school to change the world.
Entrepreneurship: You will learn to turn ideas into projects that create value for society. When faced with a challenge you are passionate about, you will give your very best.
University Pathways
You will be able to continue your studies in all university faculties, particularly in Economics, Marketing, Law, Political Science, Psychology, History and Philosophy, Communication Sciences, Human Sciences, International Relations, and Foreign Languages.
Career Opportunities
You will be able to start your own startup or enter numerous emerging work environments, both in Italy and abroad.
As a professional, in professional firms in business, legal, or psychological fields; in universities, research offices, and research institutions in the socio-economic sector; at international organizations in political and diplomatic contexts.
As a manager, in public administration, companies, and organizations, in areas such as human resources, communication, international relations, human development, cooperation, public relations, and environmental and territorial management.
Open Day: Participating in an Open Day is the perfect opportunity to get to know the school up close. Through multimedia presentations, the Principal and teachers explain the teaching method, programs, and the IESS experience to families. Students take part in interactive workshops, where they experience the IESS method with the help of our students. Open Days are held in person. Reservation is required.
Internships: Spending a morning at school is an exciting way to experience a typical day at IESS firsthand, alongside older students. Open lessons, workshops, group projects, and discussions with teachers allow students to explore the Active Learning method and understand what it means to learn actively! Internships are always open.
Visits: A meeting with the Principal can be a great opportunity to gather more information, clarify doubts, and discuss personal situations. It can also be a chance to visit the school, learn more about the IESS method, or deepen the teaching approach of specific subjects.
