FOREIGN LANGUAGES


In both addresses the basic foreign language is English.


The European Languages and Cultures major includes, in addition to English, the study of two other foreign languages, to be chosen from the following: French, German, Spanish.

Continuous employment, for all five years, of native-speaking teachers

Teaching of non-linguistic subjects in the language

Language certifications


Language skills are certified by external accredited bodies. In particular, students take the following certifications:

Third grade French
Class four German/Spanish
Fifth class English

At the end of the five years, each student must achieve the following minimum skills:

English B2 (both addresses)
French B1 (European languages and cultures)
German B1 (European languages and cultures)
Spanish B1 (European languages and cultures)
