B-Green

The European project "B-Green": "Equipping students with green skills, knowledge and attitudes for sustainable development" aims to create partnerships for environmental education and awareness by developing a firm ecological mindset in school students to overcome today's environmental challenges with a proactive attitude and strong commitment to their community.

Project objectives:

Equipping schools with innovative green-oriented teaching and learning tools to become eco-friendly schools, initiators of social change and sustainable development
Update teachers' profiles so they can adopt interactive learning experiences that stimulate student engagement
Encouraging young Europeans to become active citizens who advocate for their communities from a young age for social change, while promoting the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals
Transforming students into Ambassadors for their peers, friends, parents, teachers and the wider community, so that others can follow their example
Create a community of eco-youth working on sustainable solutions to environmental challenges.

The expected results to enhance teachers' teaching methodologies and attract students' interest in environmental issues through the acquisition of eco-knowledge and the preservation of green skills, will be achieved through innovative and interactive tools such as AR games and avatars; a multimedia training kit accompanied by interactive material with teaching guidelines, videos and presentations; an online interactive platform with various functionalities to support both teachers and students:

a) an e-learning section with materials, resources, tools

b) an e-community as a social environment where teachers can interact and share information, experiences and knowledge with other teachers, students, experts

c) an eco-audit tool; a Guidebook to ensure the use and sustainability of the project and finally the pilot test of the project results.

The Erasmus project is coordinated by Brigada do Mar (PT), with the support of 6 partners: Agrupamento de Escolas António Gedeão (PT), Asserted Knowledge - AKNOW (GR), Gymnasio Archangelou Lakatamias (CY), Ecocène (FR), Emphasys Centre (CY) and IESS - Il Liceo Europeo.
